Most virtual instructor-led training today follows the traditional footprint of 60 minutes.  Popular belief is that anything longer means you will lose your audience and that people are too busy to devote any more time than that.

So, what do you do when you want to take a 3-day, 24-hour course, make it virtual, have a live instructor, and give the learners a phenomenal, memorable learning experience?

This session will answer this question by giving you some insights based on Dr. Lockhart-Jones’s 12 years of experience delivering tremendously successful, live, virtual instructor-led training, for global, geographically dispersed participants, with courses running 4-5 hours per day, 5 consecutive days a week.

Some topics we will cover include:

  • Understand current virtual instructor-led training (V-ILT) practices vs. what can “really” be done to reach global learners.
  • What it takes to go beyond the one hour footprint.
  • Understand the role of the facilitator/instructor in longer footprints and why it’s not for everyone.
