With the expansion of the global workforce and the continuous shifting of global economic factors, the time for blended learning has arrived.  A solid blended learning design makes sense instructionally and economically.  But how do we make sure we do it right?  What are the hidden challenges that can create a roadblock to success before we even roll out the program?

This session addresses the most common challenges encountered when designing and implementing a blended learning solution, and provides strategies on how to anticipate these challenges and minimize their impact.  Technological, organizational, and instructional concerns will be addressed.  This session will identify the 10 challenges, and provide suggested approaches for overcoming them and achieving blended learning success.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Articulate an expanded definition of blended learning, which includes key design strategies.
• Anticipate 10 common roadblocks to blended learning implementation.
• Plan to minimize the impact of these roadblocks, or eliminate them completely.
